Alan Angeluci, a Global ITV Project researcher at the Interdisciplinary Center for Interactive Technologies, University of São Paulo (USP-CITI), will be the guest speaker for The Developer’s Conference, to be held at Globalcode.
The event held in São Paulo since 2007 aims to promote IT knowledge exchange, especially on programming and business. In its 8th edition, several conferences will address market trends on topics such as Digital TV, Android, Windows 8, iOS, Java, Python, Testing, Games, among others.
On the 8th of August, focusing on Digital TV, The Developer’s Conference will promote a whole day of panels that will explore the iTV features. During Alan Angeluci’s lecture he will discuss interactivity in the Global ITV experience, a project that develops solutions for interoperable platforms on iTV with a focus on technical innovation, user experience, second screen use and social media.
Alan Angeluci was a post-doctoral fellow at the Department of Radio-Television-Film, University of Texas at Austin (USA). He obtained his PhD in Sciences at the University of São Paulo, USP, Brazil. He attended his Doctorate Sandwich program at the University of Brighton, England. Alan also has his Master degree in Digital Television and graduated in Social Communication at the University of State of São Paulo, Brazil. He is a lecturer in graduate and undergraduate courses in several universities and is a scientist/researcher at the Centro Interdisciplinar em Tecnologias Interativas at USP (CITI USP) and the Escola do Futuro (EF USP). His market experiences are in TV, with periods at Record TV (Brazil), Deutsche Welle Television (Germany) British Broadcasting Corporation – BBC (England).
